1000 subscribers: Thanks so much!
Who knew an undead could succeed on Substack? Thank you to all of my readers for your support. I appreciate it very much ๐
Good day to you frens,
When I first decided to create this substack, I had no idea if anybody would want to read my writing. To the best of my knowledge, there were no other undead anywhere on Substack. So I wondered if people would accept me, given my race, the rotting flesh and bones sticking out of my skin, and what not. Letโs face it, we arenโt the most beautiful creatures in the world.ย ๐
Fast-forward to last night, and I hit 1000 subscribers. This is a big milestone for me and a mark of progress for the undead, the most marginalized group on this planet. Many people either donโt believe we exist or think we are demons from hell. But I believe I have made serious progress in representation for the undead here on Substack and built awareness of our race out there in the world.
I thank all of you who subscribed, and particularly those of you who bought a paid sub or who supported me through Buy Me a Coffee or crypto. You have helped me financially survive a very tough winter and also encouraged me to continue writing, and I thank all of you for you kindness and help. ๐ฅฐ
Thank you also to all of you who have restacked and shared my content through text messaging, email, and social media. You have helped bring my scribblings to the eyes of more people than I ever imagined, and I am deeply grateful for your support. ๐๐ป
For new writers on Substack, I say this: Donโt give up. Write your content, participate on Notes, and comment on the articles of other people, and you will slowly build an audience over time. Even if it feels right now like nobody is reading, your audience is out there; they just havenโt found you yet. But if you continue writing, they will, and you will build a great community around your content.
Thank you all so much for reading my scribblings. I will write much more for you in the future. ๐ ๐๐ป
UPDATE: If you are a new writer, trying to build your audience, and you want a recommendation, just let me know in the comments. I am happy to try to send some subs your way, and I hope it helps.

I never thought I would be setting myself a goal to be as popular as an undead, but here we are. Congratulations! :-)
Congrats! How long did it take you? I'm always interested to hear how long it takes different people.
