Are the Republicans about to hand the 2026 election to the Democrats?
The Republicans are working on a budget bill, and what I've seen indicates that they are tone deaf. If they pass it and Trump signs it, the Dems have a good chance at taking the 2026 election.
I mentioned the do-nothing Republicans in Congress in my last post. Well, it turns out I was wrong; they actually have been doing something. This time around, they are busy working on a budget that, if passed and signed by Trump, will likely result in the Democrats regaining control of Congress in 2026. That probably sounds like hyperbole on my part, doesn’t it? Alas, I wish that were true, and you will see why when you look at what they are planning to do.
