In defense of TikTok

The GAE's elites want TikTok banned because they cannot control it

I recently downloaded TikTok after avoiding it for years. I kept hearing about it spying on people, how awful China was for owning it, and all the rest of the propaganda that has been spewed about TikTok.

TikTok has the best algorithm in social media

After having it for a few hours, I realized something: TikTok is delightful!

The TikTok algo is far better than anything I’ve seen on other social media services. It has managed to keep giving me videos that I’m interested in and I like, with few mistakes. When I do bump into something I don’t like, I long press on the screen and choose “Not Interested” and it disappears.

So what have I been watching? Lots of videos of animals such as moose, cats, deer, bears, and other critters. I also love the natural scenery videos, as well as some interesting personalities I’ve bumped into as I’m scrolling through my feed.
