Over the last week or so there were multiple reports of Madonna being found unconscious, and then being transported to the ICU. The story that has been put out is that she had a severe bacterial infection that required hospitalization for her to recover. As I write this post, she has been recuperating at home.
Madonna's condition was so serious that her relatives were 'preparing for the worst,' a family member has told DailyMail.com.
The 64-year-old was found unconscious in New York on Saturday, and rushed to the ICU where she was reportedly intubated overnight.
On Wednesday, her manager Guy Oseary announced that she was suffering from a 'serious bacterial infection', and needed time to recover so was postponing her tour, due to begin in Vancouver on July 15.
The singer's relative told DailyMail.com they spent several traumatic days unsure if she was going to pull through.
The family member said the shocking collapse was a wake-up call for Michigan-born Madonna, who believes she is 'invincible' and has been pushing herself extremely hard to prepare for the tour.
Did Madonna take the not-vaccines?
The first thought I had when I saw the story about her being sick was: she took the not-vaccines and had a cardiac event. But then I saw the information about the bacterial infection and that threw me for a loop, I had no idea if the not-vaccines affected bacterial infections, so I dropped a line to Trevor Goodchild on Poast, who understands the medical jargon far better than I do.
So then I figured she had taken them, given her politics and the fact that she is a woke communist now. But I decided to do a bit of searching anyway and discovered some unexpected results. Madonna expressed doubt about the not-vaccines early on, and it left me wondering if she had taken them.
This article indicates she had the virus and recovered:
“And just to clear things up for people who would rather believe sensationalist headlines than do their own research about the nature of this virus— I am not currently sick.”
“When you test positive for anti-bodies it means you HAD the virus which I clearly did as I was sick at the end of my tour in Paris over 7 weeks ago along with many other artists in my show but at the time,” she added.
Madonna has never publicly spoken about getting the vaccine. She instead said there’s “no debate or discussion” over vaccines due to the fear of cancel culture.
So we know she had the virus, was tested, and was found to have antibodies in her system. That wasn’t the only article that made me pause and reconsider that she had taken the shots.
Back in 2021 she expressed skepticism and was afraid of being canceled over her views about the virus and the not-vaccines:

The usually outspoken pop star admits the current climate has forced her to think twice before chiming in on social issues, because she doesn’t want fans to turn on her for “disturbing the peace.”
In a new V Magazine interview, she says, “The way people think about the pandemic, for instance, that the vaccination is the only answer or the polarization of thinking you’re either on this side or the other. There’s no debate, there’s no discussion.
So it seems as though Madonna might have - and I stress the word “might” here - gone her own way and not taken the not-vaccines. If this is true then the bacterial infection might have been just that, an infection she somehow got in the process of preparing for her now-postponed tour.
Celebrities lie all the time
Usually in this kind of situation, I err on the side of believing that the celebrity is lying. Remember Jamie Foxx? He’s been out of commission for months, with what seems to be a not-vaccine injury (a stroke or heart attack of some kind or another most likely), but one of his daughters recently said that he was “fine and playing pickleball.”
Foxx’s daughter is lying, since nobody has seen Foxx in months, including his co-stars in the most recent movie he was working on before falling ill. This is what I mean by erring on the side of believing celebrities or their press people are lying. They do this all the time and in the most obvious negative situations in an attempt to con people into believing that all is well.
Yet in this situation, it is possible that Madonna might not have taken the not-vaccines, and that the bacterial infection is just that and nothing more.
Madonna isn’t aging well
I’ll say this for Madonna, as nutty as she is sometimes, she is also a very hard worker. Few in the music business have had her work ethic over the years, and she has always put 110% into her career. So it might very well have been a situation where she overdid it (she is 64 after all) and her body simply couldn’t keep up with the demands she was putting on it.
If that’s the case then it also shows something else: she has not adjusted well to being older and still thinks she can behave the way she did 20 or 30 years ago. This is not surprising, she still runs around shaking her 60-something titties and ass at anybody who will look at them. She’s always been a narcissist in that sense.
Remember that during the fake pandemic, she was desperate for attention and resorted to posting photos of herself in a bathtub on Instagram. That sort of need for attention has served her well in her career but also demonstrates her severe narcissism. She’s had many years of fame and fortune, but it will never be enough for her, she needs to have eyeballs on her at all times.
Madonna has outlived Prince, George Michael and Michael Jackson
Consider this: Madonna is the last of the big four pop stars left alive from the 80s. George Michael, Michael Jackson, and Prince are dead now and have been for a while. But Madonna goes on, year after year, desperately yearning to be the pop tart she was back in the 80s, in her youth.
She appears to be recovering from her strange sickness, but I believe her fate might be the cruelest of any of the big 80s pop stars.
Some day she will be in her 90s, in a nursing home bed. The nurse will come in with her food, and Madonna will roll over, lift her night gown and start wiggling her saggy, wrinkled 90-something ass at the horrified person while slowly croaking out the song “Like a Virgin.”
Perhaps it would have been better if she had taken the not-vaccines after all.
If I had to bet on whether or not she got it, I'd say yes, but that might not be the best bet because if I were to bet on whether or not she had even expressed skepticism over the shots, I would have said no, and would have lost money on that. That being said, most people I know who were even skeptical about the shot still got it, either by choice or coercion, so I think the odds she did are pretty good. Extremely strange stuff all the same.
