Obama‘s library looks like it belongs on the moon, minus any futuristic awe any ensouled being would impute to that. Airless, waterless, joyless. Except from the moon, you can glimpse that exquisite jewel of the solar system, the Earth. The view from Obama’s library will probably make Bosch’s Garden of Earthly Delights look like the Garden of Eden.

We have become the Soviets, complete with a corrupt deep state and ugly architecture. Pity we didn't at least get free universal health care, higher education, and nice spacious apartments to live in like Soviet citizens did as well.
I think we are worse too. At least the Soviets had a class-based ideology they were working from, but we don't even have that! We are careening along with a half-ass ideology of out of control egalitarianism combined with massive financial and political corruption.

The only thing that Obama's library reminds me of is a badly designed tomb. It's blocky, It's ugly, and it fits his personality.
