I posted this on Notes, but I wanted to send it out to you guys as well, since some of you don’t spend time there. It’s a beautiful video, though I do not know who created it. But it’s a great reflection of their friendship, and I think it’s worth watching and sharing.

For those of you who might not be familiar with Shinzo Abe, he was the prime minister of Japan. He left office and was later assassinated while giving a speech.
Donald Trump might have shared his fate had he not moved his head at just the right moment.
RIP Shinzo, God rest your soul, sir. 🙏🏻 🫡

After reading "My Substackers " each morning, I move to devouring Notes--and do so through the day. This one is of considerable interest , as one child has spent last two years teaching in Japan. What had been simply a "very, very foreign country" with elegant art, has become--"well that's where my kid lives and hangs out."
