Trump wins big in Iowa, but what about New Hampshire?
Good news for Trump in Iowa, and now it's on to New Hampshire
To no one’s surprise, Donald Trump won big in Iowa. His victory there was a pleasant change from 2016, when he came close but didn’t quite get a win in Iowa. Now that his previous defeat has been turned into a huge win, that gives him great momentum for the next contest in New Hampshire.
New Hampshire could be a different story for Trump
Now that Iowa is done, New Hampshire looms large as Trump’s next challenge. However, New Hampshire is a very different state than Iowa. Iowa’s electorate is older and highly evangelical. New Hampshire voters are another cup of tea entirely, and it remains to be seen if Trump can get as big a win there as in Iowa.
The departure of Chris Christie from the campaign could be a boon to Neocon Nimarata Haley if enough of his voters move over to her side. They could potentially put her within striking distance of Trump and are likely to give her a strong second-place finish. To date, as far as I know, Christie has not made an endorsement, but you can bet Haley will try to get one before New Hampshire’s primary.
However, the departure of Vivek Rama-ding-dong from the race and his endorsement of Trump mean that most of his supporters will show up for Trump in New Hampshire, offsetting the Christie supporters that might defect to Haley. Say what you will about Vivek; he saw the handwriting on the wall, and he acted accordingly. Endorsing Trump ingratiates him with the eventual nominee and places him in a good position for a speech at the convention and possibly even consideration for the VP slot (doubtful, but you never know).
It also helps Trump that Ron DeSantis is staying in the race. That keeps the anti-Trump forces split between DeSantis and Haley. If DeSantis stays in until Super Tuesday, then it’s all over and Trump deftly avoids a two-person race, which might have given Haley an outside (very outside) chance of somehow catching fire and stopping Trump at some point.
Nimarata Haley must be stopped at all costs
The last poll I saw of New Hampshire indicated that Haley had made significant gains there, but I have to tell you that I regard such polls as mostly bullshit. Except for Rich Baris, I normally discount the polls completely. So many so-called pollsters are establishment liars, and they cook their polls to get the result they want and do not accurately reflect the intentions of voters.
But I also know that the Deep State and its assorted collection of establishment Republicans are pushing hard for Neocon Nimarata in New Hampshire. They are pulling out all the stops to at least try to get her a very strong second-place finish there. The state has been flooded with ads and other propaganda to try to get New Hampshire voters to buy into her neocon bullshit.
I truly hope that New Hampshire gives Trump a massive victory that forces the others out of the race. Having them stay in just ends up being a waste of money, time and energy, given that Trump is certainly going to be the nominee.
Haley is a dreadful neocon who must never be allowed anywhere near the presidency. She must be driven out of the race as soon as possible, so keep your fingers crossed that New Hampshire voters see her for what she is and vote accordingly.

I’m confident that people from all walks of life recognize her for what she is. I usually don’t have so much faith in the voting public, but she is so unbelievably transparent in her awfulness that I can’t imagine her getting any significant traction. Polls are to be ignored in any case.
