Trump’s rapey hand, backstabber Romney, and “poor health”
Trump’s massive victory in Iowa has put him back in the headlines this week, and some of the stories about him are ridiculous. Look no further than this asinine article by the Daily Mail about his “red hand:”
As Donald Trump waved at supporters today, he flashed bizarre red splotches on his right hand - sparking a slew of hilarious conspiracy theories online.
DailyMail.com captured him leaving Trump Tower early on Wednesday morning with the mysterious red cuts on his hand - hours after braving a snowstorm to speak to supporters alongside former 2024 GOP hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy.
Trump was on his way to court, where his accuser E. Jean Carroll testified in her second federal civil trial against him. She told the jury that Trump 'shattered her reputation' by 'lying' about sexually assaulting her and calling her a 'wack job'.
I love how the DM combines the finger thing with the rape story. Makes it sound like he raped somebody last night and hurt his fingers while doing the deed. The Daily Mail is such trash, but I read it everyday because I just can’t help myself. Every day the front page is a train wreck of bullshit, lies, innuendo, and errors, but it’s also highly entertaining.
Speaking of Trump and rape, the Republican party’s resident asshole, liar and backstabber Mitt Romney weighed in with yet another series of opinions that underscore why he is hated by the Republican base:
Former Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney on Wednesday slammed supporters of Donald Trump as 'out of touch,' saying they did not seem to care that a judge concluded he raped a woman.
He made his comments after Trump won the Iowa caucuses, with the former president on course to easily secure the party's 2024 nomination.
'I think a lot of people in this country are out of touch with reality and will accept anything Donald Trump tells them,' he told CNN.
'You had a jury that said that Donald Trump raped a woman. And that doesn't seem to be moving the needle.
'There's a lot of things about today's electorate that I have a hard time understanding.'
This demonstrates how utterly clueless Romney is and why he has been driven out of the senate. He knows full well he is detested and that nobody wants him around any more. He is one of the weakest, most pathetic individuals I’ve ever seen in public life. Good riddance to you, Romney! Don’t let the door hit you in the ass on the way out, backstabbing cur!
One last bit about Trump: his victory in Iowa has upset the powers that be so much that they are now trying to say that he is in poor health. Yes, this is their new line of attack against him:
Despite a resounding win in the Iowa Republican caucus last night, doctors warn Donald Trump has looked tired, gaunt and unsteady on his feet in recent months.
The 77-year-old, normally full of energy and charisma, looked uncharacteristically frail and unsteady as he walked into a hotel in Des Moines after a busy day of campaigning Saturday night.
Dr Stuart Fischer, an internal medicine physician in New York, told DailyMail.com: ‘I've never seen that in him. The walking is one issue, but the balance is another. He looked a little bit like he was on a ship at sea.’
During his victory speech on Monday night, commentators pointed out that Mr Trump was less animated than usual and his voice was lower. A similar critique was made about his Presidential announcement back in 2022.
Look, let’s face the fact that Trump is old now. There’s no doubt about that, but for someone his age he still has an enormous amount of energy. And he has it despite the never-ending onslaught of attacks by his enemies. You have to give the man some credit for not buckling under the weight of all of those attacks.
However, I will say that he has likely gone too far with losing weight, it has made him look somewhat frail. I prefer a fatter Trump to the skinny one. So maybe Melania needs to feed him up a little bit and get him looking a bit more plump and jolly for the campaign.
Eat Santa, eat!
Russian soldier dodges killer drone
Every adult male has a pair of balls between his legs, but there are some guys with really GIGANTIC balls, and the Russian soldier in the video below is one of them. I held my breath when I first watched this video.
Damn, you have to give it to this guy. BIG, BRASS BALLS!!!! 😳 👍🏻
Harlem in the 1930s
Here’s a beautiful, colorized version of Harlem in the 1930s. Gee, I wonder what could have changed between then and now? The Harlem of today is another matter entirely, and if you could bring some of the people in this video back from the dead, they would be shocked at what it has become in the intervening years.
Why Europe is irrelevant on the world stage
This guy, Varoufakis, is right on the money about Europe. Nobody cares what Europe has to say about anything because it’s not a nation-state, it’s a gaggle of has-been countries with no real leader on the level of Putin, Xi, or even the dementia-addled pedophile that stole the 2020 election.
Why cold weather kills Teslas
Earlier this week I wrote a post about “Why I will never buy an electric vehicle.” Breitbart had a good article today that elaborated on why cold weather is murder on electric vehicles like Teslas.
Before this week, I had no idea that the stupid things didn’t work well or at all below certain temperatures. I was shocked to find out, but it’s another reason why I would never buy one.
Here’s some interesting info from the Breitbart article:
The core problem lies in the fact that EVs are inherently less efficient in cold weather. Research has shown that EVs can lose up to 30 percent efficiency on average, impacting their driving range significantly. For instance, an EV with a range of 200 to 215 miles might only achieve 150 to 175 miles in cold conditions. Scott Case, the co-founder and CEO of battery research firm Recurrent notes that EVs “definitely lose some of their driving range in extreme cold.” This efficiency drop is attributed to the chemical and physical reactions inside an EV’s battery, which require more time in the cold, thereby reducing the power available to the vehicle.
Another issue is the heating systems used in EVs. Most rely on supplemental heaters, often resistive heaters, which are less efficient in extremely low temperatures. Newer EV models may include heat pumps, which are more effective in such conditions. EVs can also take longer to charge in cold weather because most EV batteries are designed to charge slower as the temperature drops. This is a protective measure to preserve battery health, but it reduces the vehicle’s range as the battery needs to expend energy to heat itself up before charging efficiently.
And some Tesla owners couldn’t even open their doors because of Elon Musk’s stupid door handle design:
The Daily Mail reports that numerous Tesla owners have reported being unable to access their vehicles due to frozen door handles during a severe winter storm in Canada and the United States. Rachel Modestino, a meteorologist from Ontario, experienced this issue firsthand on December 23 when temperatures reached a low of 5º F and her car’s door latch failed to function
Modestino’s situation gained significant attention on social media, as a video she posted of her struggle with the frozen door handle has garnered over 10.1 million views on Twitter. In the tweet accompanying the video, Modestino quipped, “Bet ya didn’t think of ice in the Tesla design.” The video shows the Tesla partially covered in ice, highlighting the severity of the winter storm.
Has the monarchy in England “slimmed down” too much?
King Charles wanted a slimmed-down monarchy, and he got it. But now he and Kate are both in the hospital or headed to it, while William has to watch the kids. That leaves Ann left as one of the only royals, besides Camilla, who can run around giving speeches and doing events.
King Charles’ dream dating back to the 1990s was founded on a belief that to survive long-term (and to remain relevant) the Royal Family needed to be scaled back to a core of the monarch and his (or her) immediate successors.
The peripheral figures, for so long part of the ritual at moments of national celebration adorning the Buckingham Palace balcony, would simply vanish.
How prophetic Princess Anne’s words now seem when she was asked ten months ago about the new King’s plans to reduce the royal workforce. ‘I think “slimmed down” was said in a day when there were a few more people around,’ she observed. ‘It doesn’t sound like a good idea.’
Charles’s rationale was not just based on the physical presence of a bloated family, but also on confronting the public perception that it is kept afloat by the taxpayer. He is keen for the monarchy to be seen as value for money.
Achieving all of this can only be done by reducing what the institution actually does.
I am undead, not British, so I do not actually know what the royals do all day. I imagine they run around to various events, do charity work and that sort of thing. But it does seem like King Charles, as usual, had his head up his ass when he decided to slim down the monarchy.
If you ask me, the crown should have gone to Anne. That woman has balls and brains, and she would have made a hell of a queen, arguably better than QE2 herself. What a pity that the crown didn’t go to Anne instead of Charles.
Speaking of the monarchy, here’s the final scene of the Crown and it’s about QE2’s death. I think the scene worked very well. Don’t watch it if you are a fan of the show and haven’t seen it yet.
Meme of the Week
Well, this meme certainly rings true. Davos attracts the scummiest people on the planet, and I’m not talking about the sex workers.
And here’s the runner-up for meme of the week:
And that’s it for this issue of the Week in Review. I hope your week went well, and you were someplace warm and not freezing in the cold like so many others.

I think a lot of people in this country are out of touch with reality
Yep, and all of them are democrats and drones.
