Where are our DOGE dividend checks?

Has Trump screwed his base by routing DOGE funds back to the military-industrial complex via the Pentagon? What impact will this have on the 2026 election?

DOGE (the Department of Government Efficiency) initially became one of my favorite aspects of Trump’s second administration. Who among us didn’t enjoy the fat cat federal employees having to answer to one of Elon’s bright, young minions? The amount of waste and fraud DOGE uncovered was shocking, even to many of us who have watched the blob down in Washington, DC, grow like a virulent cancer over the last fifty years.

Not very long after Elon’s DOGE crusade began, he floated the idea of DOGE dividend checks of $5000 to all citizens of the country. Now, you should know that I took that with a huge grain of salt. I never believed such a huge amount of money would be given back to the people of this country, especially the poor and working class, who need it the most. I simply didn’t believe we’d see that amount, but I expected Trump to at least try something like $1000 checks or something along those lines.
