Destiny calls to Donald Trump
Sometimes things happen for a reason, and so it is with Donald Trump's surviving an assassination attempt by the Deep State
It has been a couple of days since the attempted assassination of Donald Trump by the Deep State, and all of us have had some time to come to grips with the dirty, vicious, planned affair. The initial amazement and relief have passed, and so it is time to consider why Trump’s life was spared.
Before I get into that, here is a reminder of what happened for those who have not seen it and do not fully understand the miracle of his survival:
Yes, it really was that close, dear readers. If Trump had not turned his head, the bullet from the wannabe assassin would have smashed into his brain, and he would be dead now. You would not be reading this article because I would not have written it. History itself would have been changed in a split second, and an alternative timeline would have ensued.
I have said, and I still believe, that it was the hand of Christ that intervened to save Trump’s life. I have seen many on social media scoff at this and say, “Well, why didn’t he save the guy who was killed and the two who were critically wounded?” To that, I do not have an answer; I am not God, and I do not know what his plan is for the world.
But I do know that Donald Trump’s life was spared, and it was spared for a reason.
Why?
Well, the most obvious reason I can see is to avert World War 3. We have all had to watch Biden and the idiot, warmongering neocons push Russia to the very limit with their bullshit in Ukraine. I believe that the only thing that stopped them from sending troops into Ukraine was Biden’s need to be reelected. Yes, the Neocons are that crazy, reckless, stupid and arrogant.
Trump has indicated that he wants the war in Ukraine to end, and his running mate J.D. Vance has also indicated that Ukraine is not a real security issue for the United States (which is quite true and a sane point of view). How will Trump end the war? I do not think it will fall to him to end it, I believe the Russians are aware that the neocons are waiting for the election to be over, and I think the Russians will pull out all the stops to wind the war down before November. It will be safer for them and for the world once Ukraine is crushed, ceases to be a state altogether, or becomes a small rump state that is dumped onto the West.
However, Trump being president is something of an insurance policy for the Russians. If he wins, then it likely means that the Neocons will not be able to move forward with escalating the war after the election. Trump is likely to put the brakes on any attempt to send US troops into Ukraine or otherwise have the US directly involved in a land war in Europe against Russia.
Moreover, Trump will almost certainly wind down the flow of weapons to Ukraine, if he can. That remains to be seen, since the scumbag neocons have tried to set things up so that it is difficult or impossible for Trump to stop the weapons flow. I do not know what he will be able to do directly, but he knows that the war is lost, and it is pointless to continue to try to prop up the regime in Kiev.
So it is possible that Trump’s life could have been spared to stop a conflict that could kill hundreds of millions of people, or perhaps even billions. A land war in Ukraine between the US and Russia runs the risk of a catastrophic nuclear confrontation that all sane people want to avoid completely.
But what are the other reasons he might be alive? What if it’s not to stop World War 3? It is difficult to speculate here; trying to guess the mind of God is beyond any of us, and not even the undead can ever truly understand the almighty.
Yet, I will take a guess or two, for the sake of discussion.
It might be that Trump is called to try to repair the depraved, corrupt society that America has become over the last 30 years. The troon cult, DEI, and the rest of the woke communist ideology are a potentially big target for Trump. As president, he will have the power to begin to erase the woke communist mind virus from the federal government and all the businesses and entities connected to it. That alone could have a very positive impact on US society.
I remember when Christianity was strong in the US, and it was a far better country than it is now, though no country or human society is ever perfect. Even as president, Trump can only do so much in terms of the human spirit, but the government does have a fair amount of power in terms of providing incentives to the human beings who exist within its system. Trump might be able to create incentives for better behavior or, at the very least, root out some of the corruption inside the government itself.
But will Trump even try to do any of this? Well, before the assassination attempt, I doubt much of it would have been a priority for him. But he has been behaving differently since he almost died. Have you noticed it? I think his narrow escape from death has affected him and will continue to do so for the rest of his life.
Consider his decision to change this speech at the convention:
There’s already some proof of that, as Trump related that his brush with death had changed his mind about the speech he will give Thursday to accept his party’s nomination for the third consecutive time.
“I had all prepared an extremely tough speech, really good, all about the corrupt, horrible administration,” he said, then suddenly added: “But I threw it away.”
He said a new speech was in the works because “I want to try to unite our country.” Folding his arms, he added, “But I don’t know if that’s possible. People are very divided.”
Was it a matter of tone, I asked, or were there policy changes he had in mind?
The policy differences, he suggested, are the stumbling block. “Some people want open borders, some don’t. Some want men to be able to play on women’s sport teams, and others don’t.”
Still, he said, he remains convinced that success will unite the country, though he didn’t otherwise define what that success would entail.
Trump right now reminds me of a caterpillar that has gone into its cocoon to turn into a butterfly. He is changing, evolving, and becoming something more than what he was when he first got into politics. I believe that this change is also likely to become part of his spirit, if it has not already done so.
He has to be asking himself this simple yet profound question: Why am I still alive?
The old Trump is still there, but a new Trump is likely evolving from the person he used to be, and the changes could result in profound, unexpected, and potentially earth-shattering political decisions that none can foresee right now. Yes, I believe that his brush with death will affect Trump that dramatically as he adjusts emotionally and psychologically to surviving the most dramatic assassination attempt since the murder of John F. Kennedy by the Deep State in 1963.
Few men and even fewer politicians have had a life story like Donald Trump’s, and his story is not yet over. In a way, the metamorphosis that Trump is now undergoing reminds me of a passage from The Fellowship of the Ring. In that scene, Gandalf is looking at Frodo and thinking to himself what Frodo might become:
Gandalf moved his chair to the bedside, and took a good look at Frodo. The colour had come back to his face, and his eyes were clear, and fully awake and aware. He was smiling, and there seemed to be little wrong with him. But to the wizard's eye there was a faint change just a hint as it were of transparency, about him, and especially about the left hand that lay outside upon the coverlet.
'Still that must be expected,' said Gandalf to himself. 'He is not half through yet, and to what he will come in the end not even Elrond can foretell. Not to evil, I think. He may become like a glass filled with a clear light for eyes to see that can.'
Donald Trump is not half through yet either; destiny is calling to him, and he now must answer that call if his survival is to have any real meaning. To what end will Trump come? Only Christ knows, and he has not shared his thoughts with me.

I think you nailed it.
As much of a Trump supporter as I’ve been over the last few years, I must say that there is a very fine line between supporters and blind followers like the far left wants people to be.
I never agreed with every single thing Trump did or said, especially his delivery on the things he said. I remember really well in 2020 when my wife and I were talking about his Twitter rants, and one of us made the comment that what he’s saying on there is going to be used against him somehow. Surely enough, it was. The left knew they couldn’t beat him so they let him hang himself on there before they started censoring not only him but everyone who spoke out against them.
This year has been much different for Trump. His performance during the debate this time around — in my very honest opinion — was much more tactful than his performance in 2020. In some ways he played the same game as the libs and let Joe Biden — who we know whose brain is falling out of his ears at this point — hang himself during the debate.
So, before I ramble anymore, I have to agree that Trump has changed and that (I think) we were starting to see it before the attempt on his life. Now that it’s post-assassination, it’s like you said, we KNOW he’s going about things differently.
My last thought: Yes, I both fully believe and affirm that this really is a miracle of God.
I think you are correct. I saw him Monday night sitting at the Convention. He seemed a bit softer. God works in mysterious ways His wonders to perform.
