I won't tell you how much petrol and diesel costs here. You wouldn't believe me. And a new gov of green fanatics who just closed the last coal power station in the UK with absolute glee. And just removed the winter fuel payment from pensioners. I could go on. Your 2nd is the greatest piece of foresighted genius in the history of mankind!

1990 - 0.60/l - 2.40/gal

2000 - 1.00/l - 4.00/gal

2024 - 1.80/l - 7.20/gal

Was over $2/l - 8.00/gal in the summer.

That’s why I laugh when I read about the shock of $2 eggs. Ours have been 7-8.00 for about 3 years now. And with the purchasing power of our dollar in comparison….

I’m looking for a family in Mexico (on the beach) that will adopt me. 😉

Unfortunately domestic drilling is only a small part of the picture. If he continues to pursue his pro-Israel stance and the middle east blows up (possibly literally), we're still going to be dealing with soaring energy prices. So, hope for best, prepare for worst.
