I am not tall, but I can clearly recall the very few times that a female ever made any approach or smiley, wink gesture to me , it was always a woman who would be called taller than average, and certainly taller than me! I like tall women and would have had no hangup with it "looking odd", any more than these girls did in the opposite direction. I am now married to a 5'2" woman though, so it all went conventional in the end :).
