Princess Peach: Nintendo strikes a blow for feminine beauty and grace
Nintendo has resisted the feminist attempt to make all female video game characters obese, ugly and misshapen. Princess Peach: Showtime! reminds us of what female video game characters used to be like
If you are not a gamer, you might have missed the disturbing trend of game companies making female characters ugly. This has been going on for a while and has resulted in some nasty-looking female characters:
If you are an avid video gamer, by now have noticed that female protagonists in video games have become uglier and uglier. This disturbing trend is courtesy of woke video game studios who seem to derive pleasure from making their male target audience feel uncomfortable.
For the past 13 years, the video game industry has been under assault by woke interlopers and ideologues. During and after the consumer revolt of Gamergate, many grifting feminists such as Anita Sarkeesian, Zoe Quinn, Brianna Wu, and others used the medium of video games to attack white heterosexual men to launch their careers. In their wake, the video game industry was forever changed to reflect the sensibilities of the mentally ill, feminists, homosexuals, queers, wokesters, and other perverts.
Today, the video game industry is a hotbed of symbolic diversity hires, over-represented leftist radicals, and queer revolutionaries. The chickens of relentless “we need more women (lesbians) in gaming” propaganda are coming home to roost as the beliefs of these developers are making their way into the content of video games. In the past, this was achieved by the inclusion of LGB characters. Today, it’s the defeminization of women.
I urge you to read the rest of the article I linked to, and you will understand the effect of woke communist ideology on the video game industry. It’s an ugly situation, no pun intended, and it all could have been avoided if the woke ideology had been deliberately kept out of companies.
Princess Peach: Nintendo goes in another direction
As bad as the situation is in the video game industry, there is one company that has steadfastly avoided uglification of one of its best-known female characters: Nintendo. The company recently released a game called “Princess Peach: Showtime!” and it’s clear that Nintendo decided to keep Princess Peach feminine and beautiful while also giving her various abilities using different costumes.
Here’s the trailer for the new Princess Peach game:
And here’s another trailer with Princess Peach changing into different outfits that give her enhanced abilities:
What do you notice about all of these outfits? Princess Peach still looks pretty and feminine. Sure, she can kick ass when she needs to, but Nintendo deliberately kept her beautiful and attractive. She is not obese, she has no tattoos, she doesn’t hate men, and she still has lipstick on while she kicks ass in the game. Even dressed as a pirate, Princess Peach is gorgeous and exudes feminine grace and beauty.
In other words, Princess Peach: Showtime! is swimming against the woke communist tide of the video game industry. That is not to say that Nintendo is perfect in this regard, as some of its localization of content has, indeed, been woke. But the company has still not allowed woke communism to destroy one of its most iconic female characters.
Male gamers can look at Princess Peach without rolling their eyes or feeling like they need to vomit. Female gamers, who are not man-hating feminists and who love being feminine, can have fun playing the game while reveling in Princess Peach’s cute outfits and joy at being female.
I give Nintendo credit for this, as so many other companies have already fallen for the depraved woke ideology, and made their female characters hideous to behold. As the article I linked to noted, it’s done partly to spit in the face of male gamers but also as a nod to the nutcase feminists that hate those same men and who are wildly jealous of other females who are beautiful.
I spent some time playing the free Princess Peach: Showtime! demo on my Switch, and the game plays very well indeed. Peach’s costumes give her different abilities, and the gameplay combined with the colorful art gives gamers a fun, positive experience. You won’t get tired of looking at Princess Peach or playing her in the game. In that sense, Princess Peach: Showtime! is a breath of fresh air in the video game industry.
If you have a Switch, I highly recommend downloading the free Princess Peach: Showtime! demo and giving it some playtime. It’s not a difficult game, and you’re bound to have some fun playing as Princess Peach.
Princess Peach is kicking ass in terms of sales
For the record, Princess Peach: Showtime! has been kicking ass in sales. It was only released recently, but people love it and are buying it. It is already on the bestseller list in Nintendo’s Switch store:
It also topped Japanese sales for the second week:
Last week’s Japanese sales charts saw Princess Peach: Showtime! beating out competition from the likes of Rise of the Ronin and Dragon’s Dogma 2 to take the top spot in the software charts, and this week, the action-adventure game has managed to hold on to that position, as per the latest weekly data revealed by Famitsu. Selling over 27,000 units, it holds a decent lead over Rise of the Ronin, which climbed up to the No. 2 position with an additional 20,000 units sold.
As I write this article, Princess Peach Showtime! is already on the bestseller charts on Amazon for Nintendo Switch games, as well as for the larger video games category that includes PlayStation and Xbox games. In other words, Princess Peach is kicking ass in terms of sales.
How could this be? How can a feminine, beautiful character like Princess Peach be selling tons of games? Well, it seems that gamers like playing games with attractive female characters and prefer to spend their money on such games. You’d think that perhaps Princess Peach’s success might send a message to other video game companies that their strategy of allowing woke communists to infiltrate their companies and vandalize their characters is not a winning one.
Don’t buy video games with ugly female characters
But what about all the other games with ugly female characters? The answer is simple: don't buy them and don’t play them, even if they are freemium games. The video game companies will learn their lesson soon enough. Make it a point to only buy and play games that provide players with attractive, feminine female characters. Let the game companies fall flat on their faces by shitting out crap games with hideous female characters, and they will learn from their financial losses eventually.
Nintendo, unlike certain other companies, is still smart enough to know what gamers want, and to give it to them. Princess Peach: Showtime! is a massive slap upside the head to all the idiot woke communists inside other companies who are destroying their company’s female characters by making them hideous caricatures of what they used to be years ago.
I don't believe that Nintendo made Princess Peach: Showtime! as a political statement. That is not something Nintendo would ever do deliberately. But, in the age of woke communism, where everything is politicized, Prince Peach: Showtime! is a stern rebuke to all gaming companies that uglify their female characters. Like it or not, Nintendo just took a two-by-four and whacked the entire gaming industry upside the head.
Thank you for keeping Princess Peach feminine and beautiful, Nintendo. You are not perfect, but you still manage to bring a smile to the faces of gamers. 🥰

Omega Wave Feminists and Soy Boys (not to be confused with Mario's less dangerous enemy: Shy Guys) ruin everything they touch. They need to be swept out of any positions of influence and herded back into their fanfic-papered cages.
And for what it's worth, Peach had a cool balance anyway, going back to at least Mario RPG, if not (U.S.) Mario 2. She was dainty, regal, pretty, demure... all of these wonderfully feminine, princess qualities, but at the same time, in a pinch, if she had to chuck some turnips at Birdo or smash a goomba upside his head with a frying pan to defend her kingdom or her man, she would do her best. It wasn't her forte or first choice though--she wasn't some Mario Movie halberd-wielding warrior--and just as her heroine's journey was choosing the right hero, trusting and inspiring him to rise to the occasion, she allowed Mario to traverse his trap-laden hero's journey as well, proving to her (and himself) that her faith in a fat, mustachioed madman was warranted.
Not to mention, as much as love Toad (my favorite Mario character), keeping a kingdom full of those goofy, shrieking little toadstool people running requires some serious administrative aptitude, which the wokesters also never give her any credit for. In a way, it is fascinating that for all of their rabid shrieking about the Lovecraftian horror of "toxic masculinity" and "muh patriarchy," the wokesters only value male mythic structures, values, and displays of strength in women, desperately trying to (sometimes figuratively, sometimes literally) sew phalli onto female characters in some perverse, forced, fictional "transition."
Feminism defiled all the good female characters. Look what they did to beautiful Jill Valentine! Turned her into a goddamn lesbian goblin. Shame. Least we still have Peach.
