Interesting argument. I’m re-watching the original Star Trek series right now, and it strikes me that you could say the same of it vs. most of today’s sci-fi.
That might be, but back then we didn't see so much overt political crap in it. There was some, but it wasn't non-stop in your face, and it wasn't based on "hate whitey." They wrapped it more in attempting to move beyond that sort of thing, but that's not how it turned out.
