I am late in writing this article as I was out doing deliveries this evening and did not have time to track the story of the second assassination attempt on President Trump. I am very glad to hear that he is safe and sound (for now), but I am also not surprised that another attempt occurred and that the Secret Service did not have his golf course completely secured.

The details about the attempted assassination

The Daily Mail had some details about how close Trump came to being killed again:

Officials said U.S. Secret Service agents spotted a rifle barrel sticking out of the bushes two holes ahead of where Trump was golfing on Sunday, prompting the agents to fire at the suspect.

The individual ran into his vehicle from the trees, but was spotted by a witness who snapped a picture of his vehicle – a black Nissan – which included the license plate.
