Was Hitler's body buried in a secret grave?

At the end of WW2, the Soviets supposedly found Hitler's charred body outside his bunker. But was that really his body? Or was he secretly buried some place else? 🤔

It has been 80 years since Adolph Hitler died in Berlin, in 1945. Throughout the last 80 years, conventional wisdom has said the Soviets found his body and that of his wife Eva Braun outside his bunker. The bodies had been burned after Hitler and his wife committed suicide. And, despite Hitler’s wishes that his body never be recovered by his enemies, they were left in one of the most obvious places imaginable for the Soviets to find when they entered Berlin and fought their way to Hitler’s bunker.

But what if the two bodies the Soviets found were not that of Hitler and Eva Braun? What if their bodies had been buried elsewhere? That would mean that Hitler outfoxed his enemies one last time, and that his last ruse is still in effect to this very day.

In the past, I would have scoffed at such a notion. However, I bumped into a new video today by Mark Felton that made a convincing case. Take note that Felton is careful to state this is just a theory and that he cannot prove it. However, the part about Hitler’s bunker being near a medical facility means that it would have been easy and quick for two other corpses to be substituted for Hitler and Eva Braun’s bodies.

Before I go any further with this article, here is the Mark Felton video for you to watch. I recommend watching the entire video before you write off the idea that Hitler’s body was not found by the Soviets. I initially laughed at the very idea, but by the end of the video I had reconsidered my position on the issue.

I found Felton’s arguments compelling for the following reasons:

Hitler was very concerned that his remains were not publicly abused, like Mussolini’s were after he was killed.
It always struck me as strange that Hitler’s people would deliberately leave his body in one of the places that the Soviets would look first.
The Soviets were never known for telling the truth about anything, and it is clear that the verdict that it was Hitler’s body was forced on their pathologists for political reasons.

If you aren’t familiar with what happened to Mussolini, take a look at this:

As you can tell from the photos, Mussolini came to a very bad end, and Hitler was keenly aware of all of this before he met his own end. He did not want his body on public display the way that Mussolini’s had been, and took steps to make sure that that did not happen. Hitler did not want what he viewed as his legacy tarnished by the public disgrace of having his corpse attacked by a crowd like Mussolini’s was, or even by having it displayed at all. Even knowing he was going to die, Hitler seemed determined to protect his dignity.

Hitler’s lieutenants knew all of this and yet Hitler’s body was supposedly put in a place where the Soviets would almost literally bump into it, and that never made any sense to me. Why would they do that? Why put his body in such a conspicuous place where it was bound to be discovered? Some of Hitler’s people were deeply loyal to him, right until the very end, so I find it hard to believe that they would dump his body and that of his wife into a hole in the ground right next to his bunker. It just doesn’t make any sense to me.

Regarding the Soviets, where do I even begin with the lies that came out of Stalin’s regime? The Soviets, like all governments, lied about everything. But the Soviet Union was not just another government, it was a communist dictatorship, under the control of Joseph Stalin. That means that one could never accept anything the Soviet government said at face value because reality itself would be frequently twisted under such a dictatorship. Stalin, of course, never had any compunctions about lying when it suited his purposes, and in 1945 it was imperative that Hitler’s body be accounted for so that the Soviet Union could move on from their massive losses in the war.

Some of you will bring up the supposed proof of Hitler’s teeth and dental work, but Felton covers that in the video. I won’t give away what he says here, but suffice to say, it seems to me that Hitler’s dental work is a very weak card to play to prove that the corpse in the hole in the ground outside his bunker was actually his body. As with all such supposed proof provided by the Soviets, we have to take it with a huge grain of salt. We cannot believe it at face value because of the Soviet Union’s long history of lies told for a myriad of purposes.

Another reason why I’m willing to consider Felton’s theory is that many of the supposed “truths” of history are later proven to be bullshit. Whoever wins the war gets to write the history, and such narratives usually last a very long time until someone else comes along many years later who reexamines the evidence and finds that it does not hold up to critical scrutiny. That might be the case with Hitler’s body, and I think it is a theory worth considering. Yes, it goes against all the conventional wisdom that we’ve heard for the last 80 years, but so what? How many other times has the historical record been revamped after new evidence emerges to challenge the dominant narrative? New generations are always reexamining history.

Of course, there is a political element to all of this too. If, in fact, Felton is right, then it means that Adolph Hitler outfoxed his opponents one last time. If that were ever confirmed, it would cast doubt on all the other narratives related to World War 2, and that would anger certain people who wish to preserve those narratives at all costs. The very idea that Hitler’s body was laid to rest peacefully and secretly goes completely against all the narratives that have been told since his death, and it might get people to wonder about the historical record of World War 2 that has been presented to them all of their lives.

Frankly, I’m surprised YouTube hasn’t taken the video down, given its content. Perhaps the censors at YouTube did not fully consider the implications of what Felton presented in his video? I do not know, but keep your eye on the video link I included above because it will be interesting to see if the video gets taken down.
