Why the Supreme Court ruled in Trump's favor
The court knew if they let Colorado's decision stand, chaos would be the result
If you haven’t heard, the Supreme Court ruled in Trump’s favor on Monday, and overrode Colorado’s ridiculous, partisan attempt to keep him off the ballot:
The Supreme Court on Monday handed a sweeping win to former President Donald Trump by ruling that states cannot kick him off the ballot over his actions leading up to the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol — bringing a swift end to a case with huge implications for the 2024 election.
In an unsigned ruling with no dissents, the court reversed the Colorado Supreme Court, which had determined that Trump could not serve again as president under Section 3 of the Constitution's 14th Amendment.
I expected this decision, though I was not sure if it would be unanimous or not. I half expected the commie judges on the court to dissent, but it did not turn out that way. Even they realized what a disaster it would be if Colorado’s decision stood. Moreover, the commie judges realized that it was necessary for the entire court to shut the ballot removal crap down permanently.
Can you imagine if the decision had stood? What chaos would there have been in every presidential election in the future? Partisans in red states would have eventually tried to get the Democratic candidate booted off their ballots, and their counterparts in blue states would have done the same.
This would have destabilized the entire presidential political system in the country. No candidate would have been safe. The reason(s) for trying to throw a candidate off the ballot would not have mattered. Politicians can make up any kind of bullshit reason(s) they want, and we saw that with the “insurrection” nonsense in Colorado.
Even some of the Democratic-appointed judges in Colorado disagreed with that decision, recognizing fully that it went way too far and that the Supreme Court was likely to squish it, as it ultimately did. You know it’s a bullshit decision when you have Democrats on the court warning that the Colorado decision to throw Trump off the ballot was absurd.
What I find amusing about all of this is that the end result of the partisan justice's nonsensical decision to throw Trump off the ballot simply helped him crush his rivals in the primaries. No other Republican candidate ever had a chance against him after that decision was announced. The Republican base rallied around him, and no other Republican presidential candidate ever had a chance to get any traction.
So the idiot justices in Colorado helped ensure that Trump would become the Republican nominee in 2024. The entire charade backfired in their faces, and all of them now look like unruly children who have just been spanked by their parents on the Supreme Court.
The entire Supreme Court smacked them down hard, and the justices in Colorado that voted for the decision will never live it down. It will haunt them for the rest of their professional lives.
Sometimes there is at least a little bit of justice in this world.

I'm not disappointed they have a serious lack of brainpower. If they did not they would have picked the one case that had the best chance of success and then acted all professional and serious about it. They would message it for all it's worth to make it seem like he did one serious bad thing. Luckily they have put on a bunch of in your face clown shows instead. It's enough to make people who don't even follow news or politics skeptical.
It seems that the Supreme Court has just a well as said that there was no insurrection on Jan 6th.
