I think that there is a class element here. The rich white women like Pelosi don't have to worry about the future of their sons who won't get a job, they have enough millions that their children will never have to work. Ordinary women look at that suicide statistic and it feels like a knife in the gut.
Pelosi is the definition of cut off, she thought that it would make her relatable if she talked about how many fridges and rooms she has in her house. The thing that irks me about these females (and almost all of them are women, though I have sadly had some encounters with similarly spoiled and out of touch males) is the demeaning way they look at the poor who are looking at a job to feed their families or a career advancement so that they can afford some of the luxuries the rich liberal takes for granted. Pelosi's comment about the White lower classes getting uppity if they don't get a job is a textbook example. Another noxious one is Jeff Bezos making fun of dirty peasants shrieking that immigrants are taking their jobs in his awful Amazon shows.
I always remind myself that their money and social status will not save them from death. Father time comes for us all, and Pelosi and Bezos will both go when their time comes, no matter how much money they have, it won’t save them.

We need to spread the word to people who lose their jobs due to anti-male discriminatory nonsense; life seems dark when you lose a job but it is not the end. What initiated my turn away from progressivism was an argument I had online about an athlete who had been accused of sexual assault, with me arguing to wait for more evidence before vilifying him. The case against him fell apart and charges were never brought. But the way that the people on the site were arguing was just shocking to me and got me looking into all this stuff. Before long I was totally anti-SJW and not long after that I'd totally abandoned the democrats and progressivism.
