The only reason I am voting Trump at this point is for the chaos. I am under no illusion that he will get us out of the mess we are currently in. He has the easiest election in history to win, yet he has decided that throwing himself on the grenade known as Israel somehow takes priority over actually winning the election.
Just remember, as much as you might want to complain about how things are now, we could have easily ended up with having to choose between Harpy and Nuisance. Trump does still have some populist leanings, he causes his enemies to self-destruct, and his movement will outlive him. As terrible as Biden is at least his FTC is being a pain in the ass to corporate America and he will be gone soon one way or another. After that, the bureaucrats will have to pretend someone else is in charge (it's just elder abuse at this point). Nikki Haley or Gavin Newsome would be like the Dubya and O'bummer years on crack.
RFK Jr says he will drain the swamp better than Trump ever could and he has legit beef with the three letter agencies. He also claims he will stand up to the military industrial complex and get us out of the forever wars. These are just words, of course, but I like them better than Trump’s actions.
The US Imperium cannot be saved. Not looking forward to its demise which will be chaotic and likely hyper-violent. At this point in time, I think both parties are captured to the extent that not much will change, regardless of who occupies the White House.
