(Democult hat on) You don't UNDERSTAND! This election isn't about class. It's about celebrating the raising of a WOMAN of COLOR to unprecedented heights! As the Great Barack said, "Americans celebrate wealth, and they should." So you must join our celebration for this inclusive elevation of Kamala or else you are just another bitter white man bemoaning his own loss of privilege. (Democult hat off)

How'd I do? It's been awhile. Seriously, great point on the bling. Even George W. Bush had the sense to take his tie off and roll up his sleeves after a hurricane hit, and he wasn't even a Democrat. He looked utterly ridiculous to me, but he still did it.

Can you even imagine $kamala in a T-shirt and blue jeans? I can't.

I think your arrow hit the mark in the first paragraph! 😂

I'd forgotten all about Bush, but that is a good point. How pathetic to see that Kamala lacks even his semblance of common sense. 🙄

Pretty bad when you are so stupid that you make George W. Bush look good.

I remember the Democrats pretending to be supporters of the working class, years and years ago. this century their working class affiliation has been limited to campaign platforms they "forget" to honor after sElection and money ties to big organizations like national unions.

This is a perfect example of how a disconnect between appearance and values leads to mistrust—she's neither sexy, smart, nor black, which makes you wonder how she is in bed, lol. When leaders project an image that doesn’t align with the realities of the people they claim to represent, they lose credibility fast.

You couldn't pay me enough to get in bed with her. You just know she's loaded with STDs. 🤮

The Democrats WERE the party of bigger domestic government + bias towards the working class. Today, the Democratic Party is the party of Big Government + Woke Billionaires.

Meanwhile, Trump still hands out largesse to what's left of the Rich Republicans, but he also is the Grand Union Thug protecting what's left of yeoman America.

20+ years ago I went from libertarian to freedomizer. Excess concentration of both political and economic power is anathema to freedom. Trump is the only Republican I have ever voted for for president.

Indeed, I like your characterization of Trump as a GUT. He's all we've got, even with his faults and mistakes. There is no other choice in November. None. Zero. Zilch. Nada.

Also true on concentration of power. The founding fathers knew that, and did their best to create a system where that could be limited, but they did not reckon with change over time, oligarchs, woke communism, etc. But perhaps at least some of the damage can be repaired, we shall see.

My old friend. The democrats of yesteryear became the communists of the future. They would rather cater to foreigners instead of citizens. They want us inhabiting your hallowed tomb, so they can wreck the world.

It's times like this that I'm glad I can hibernate ages away. When the time comes, I'll slip into a peaceful respite and let the idiot try to kill each other.

True, they are not now what they were then, but to such days we are doomed. At least until they have a massive political loss and realize how they've screwed up their own party. Or perhaps it will take until a new generation, someday in the future, takes over the party after Pelosi, Obama, Hillary, etc. have all turned to dust. Who can tell, right?

I hope your respite does not come for a very long time, my friend. We need you here, alive and well to continue fighting the battle! 🥊
