She’s not going to be forgotten. Sometimes that’s the only reward a hero gets, but she gave so very much and did it so energetically, it’s tragic that she’s being ignored.

You’re right on point about McCain being a worthless tool; he was a despicable human being.

Yes, Sarah was the only reason I voted for him, and I assure you that my real plan there was in hoping he would get elected and then would croak quickly so she could take over. My vote was a vote for her, not McCain.

Strangely she was always regarded with admiration and love and respect in Canada, even the left up here would tend to in the 2000-2020 era sigh and complain; 'why don't we have a Sarah Palin?' In Quebec there's the complaint she'd make a great Quebecois PM.

I've even heard the complaint that Canada should have long ago in the 70s taken Alaska so that we could have Sarah Palin.

I always assumed that she was populaire in the US, but to hear she's not is shocking. I just had a conversation with someone who claimed 'Trump is as smart as Augustus Caesar' then I told him non, then he eventually conceded, and then I threw him a bone and said 'he's the smartest candidate you've had for 100 years.' What I did not say is that it isn't a high bar, as I'm very much unimpressed by most of the candidates America has fielded in the 20th century outside maybe first term Reagan.

I really think if Palin had been nominated President not VP America would be on better footing.

McCain was a useless swamp rat. The machine thought he was great. Past time to destroy the machine.

I am in complete agreement with you. I always thought she deserved better. It amazed me how people simply mocked her without actually engaging her talking points. Some of the people who were most opposed to her in my life were other women. McCain truly was a dud. He wouldn’t have been able to do anything without her energy and contributions.

Personally, I do not like her. She had four small children, including a kid with special needs, and she was out trying to be governor to a whole state. Sorry, nobody could have whatever they want and just neglect whoever they want. it’s either one or the other. And yes, it’s OK for a father to to be governor because a mother and a father are not the same thing no matter what anybody tries to tell you in 2024. It worked extremely well when I was little and there is no reason why if it was like that before it can’t be like that again because Progressive some has to always keep going

. Well, it doesn’t work that way and the pendulum is swinging back. gen Z kids have been in daycare and know how awful it is. The majority of Gen Z boys said it’s important for the mother to stay home. Palin went on to do whatever she wanted despite having four small children. She didn’t have to have four children if she didn’t want him to take care of them.

Well, I'm definitely not a member of the Sarah Palin Appreciation Society. In fact, I think the Republicans picked her to guarantee McCain would lose.

With a voice that sounds exactly like that of the ex-wife of every white man west of the Mississippi, she was an albatross around the old warmonger's neck.

I named my daughter Bristol as I heard the name for the first time from Sarah, and dressed as Sarah for a Halloween party once. I also feel scorned I am not in the cabinet. Hope justice for all is seen quickly!!
